There is a parent-offspring relationship between Hondarrabi Beltza and Cabernet Franc, so this wine may remind wine lovers of the French variety (said to have originated in the Basque Country), even if Hondarrabi feels a little wilder, at least in this case. Lots of wild fruit aromas over a ligneous background followed by a slightly tannic palate that benefits from being served with food. A really lively wine with lots of character and a clear Atlantic style. 90 points
