Grapes are sourced from a 0.6Ha plot with granite soils which was replanted in 1985 with cuttings from El Palomar, the family’s oldest vineyard. Lots of minerality and citrus fruit in this vibrant white with nicely integrated acidity (total or partial malolactic fermentation is the norm in this brand) and lovely fruit purity. It has gained complexity after the 24 months it is aged in stainless steel tanks with its lees. A perfect introduction to terroir-driven Albariño. 16.5 points
