This was my favourite among the three 2016 reds, the first one in the market. Fresh, complex nose with spicy notes pleasantly intermixed with fruit, black liquorice and aniseed aromas on the background. Broad, juicy palate with well-defined fruit. A lovely terroir-driven Rioja. 17.0 points
