XR Rosé 2022 Rosado

A rosé that is not quite what it seems. The subtle salmon colour hides a wine with more body and alcohol (14% abv) than one might expect. The combination of old vine Garnacha and Viura provides tension, weight and a vertical, citrusy acidity reminiscent of grapefruit to support everything else. This is the second wine in the XR range after the brand was recovered for a Rioja Reserva evoking the special barrels that Riscal's French winemakers used to mark as Xtra Réserve.
