This is a classic textbook Rioja and a perfect example to understand three cornerstone features of this region such as balance, finesse and the complexity gained with oak ageing. Lovely spiced nose (vanilla, cedar) with alcohol-soaked cherry and tobacco aromas. Gentle palate with polished tannins. Always ready to drink.
