Urkizahar 2018 Blanco

This is an organic txakoli made from vineyards surrounding the family farmhouse tucked away among mountains in rural Gipuzkoa. Slightly fizzy, the palate delivers far more consistency than the standard in the DO Getariako Txakolina. Green apples, boxwood and some floral notes on the nose are followed by a lively palate marked by a citrus and vibrant character. Not showy at all, but pure and straightforward.
