Táganan Parcela Margalagua 2016 Tinto

Although it is made in tiny quantities (less than 2,000 bottles which sell out quickly), this is a fascinating, inspiring red that can still be found for less than €30 in Spain. A field blend from a very old vineyard in northern Tenerife, grapes are fermented with their stem and all together, including the whites. A very deep, aromatic red displaying wild herbs, crunchy red fruit and some spicy notes, this is really sapid an aerial and fills the palate with aromas rather than weight. Beautiful.
