A safe bet in Rioja, more approachable than Roda I but capable of evolving just as well in bottle. Seamless and expressive vintage with ripe plum and cherry aromas, spices and well-integrated oak. Lovely, precise palate combining red ripe fruits and dark chocolate flavours. It drinks beautifully thanks to its voluptuous texture and ripe tannins. A widely available red with over 100,000 bottles produced.
