Reserva Real 2015 Tinto

Grapes are sourced from a terraced vineyard in Alt Penedès featuring one of the few schist soils in the region. The wine is really expressive and full of energy. Blackcurrant and Mediterranean herbs on the nose over a floral (violet) background. The palate manages to combine concentration and finesse. This is a firm red with an excellent ageing potential. Given its price, I'd wait to open the bottle. A great wine within the reach of very few.
