An accomplished blend of young and pre-phylloxera Verdejo vines, this vintage sets a turning point. The wine is now aged on its lees for nine months (it used to be four months) and includes some barrel and foudre-aged batches. It still offers amazing value despite the price increase. Lots of white and stone fruit (peach) with real depth. Unctuous palate and good structure but with enough acidity to balance all the elements. Long finish. It could be laid down for two to four years.
