Pistoles 2021 Blanco

Pistol (gun in Catalan) refers to the shape of the branches right after pruning, so no wonder the label likens it to the guns featured in Western movies. This is a fun skin-contact white blend of Xarel.lo Vermell and Malvasía de Sitges, aged for six months in amphora. There are plenty of citrus notes (tangerine peel) and herbs that lend a really attractive wild note amplified on the palate by the lively acidity of Malvasía. A great partnership with Niepoort and a sure summer hit.
