Pies Descalzos 2014 Blanco

This white wine comes from a small plot with pink granite soils. Pale yellow colour. Clean nose with citrus and peach skin aromas; minty and mineral notes on the background. This is a serious, consistent and long white wine with the saline notes so common in the area of San Martín de Valdeiglesias. Best to hold onto it for a few months so that it can express all of its potential. Despite the dominance of Garnacha in Gredos, the best Albillo whites offer depth and character.
