Mirto 2011 Tinto

Due to be released in March-April 2016. This is single-varietal Tempranillo sourced from old vines grown in cool areas of Rioja Alta. Deep ruby colour with an orange rim. Fine, complex nose, showing cocoa, spices and lovely ripe red and black fruit aromas. This is a balanced, well-defined red wine with bright acidity and fine tannins. For the producer 2011 outdid the famous 2010 vintage in their vineyards.
