Around 30% of the wine is fermented with whole bunches and aged in foudres for 10-12 months so it is advisable to let it breathe this red wine to let Mencia’s red fruit come through. Aerial rather than tannic, with a tasty and lively palate displaying a hint of leather and plenty of character.
