This Gran Reserva has been made exclusively for the export markets, but it is due to be released in Spain in 2017 even if it is not clear whether Murrieta will start with this vintage or the 2010. The wine is made from the wines which show more aging potential among those destined to be Reserva. Dry herbs, kirsch and dried fruits aromas are followed by a juicy, savoury palate with slightly dry but soft, well-integrated tannins.
