Les Manyes 2012 Tinto

Terroir al Limit pioneered single varietal Garnachas from soils other than schist. This wine comes from one of the highest, clay-soils vineyards in the appellation right on the Montsant mountain. Les Manyes is an evocative red full of Mediterranean character (rosemary, thyme) in which winemaking techniques such as fermentation with stems are less evident; instead, the vineyard takes centre stage. This is a tremendously aromatic, mouthwatering and persistent red –albeit a expensive one.
