The Aragón brothers named this wine after their father, who planted this vineyard in 1964. The colour is not as deep as other premium reds but it shows perfectly ripe fruit, spices and a distinctive earthy edge. Arguably more concentrated than Flor de Silos, but tannins are ripe and well-integrated in a tightly knit palate with a bright future ahead. Difficult choice between this and Flor de Silos.
