The most powerful Garnacha in the range comes from a very old vineyard planted on schist soils in Cebreros, in the province of Ávila (Castilla y León). This red wine benefits from some cellaring, thus it is released later than its peers. Kirsch, earthy and toasty aromas plus some tar on the nose. The palate is rather warm but it is offset by the enveloping texture and an aromatic, herbal edge.
