At Jean Leon vineyards, Cabernet leaves are usually removed in order to avoid pyrazine aromas. Grapes are sourced from old vines planted in the late 1960s. Medium ruby colour with an orange rim. Jammy and spicy aromas are followed by a fruit-driven palate and tobacco notes. It will develop nicely over the next four to five years.
