Also part of de Vi de Finca Calificada category, Vinya La Scala is Jean Leon's top cuvée and a classic Gran Reserva which has spent 28 months in oak barrels plus three years in bottle prior to its release. This is a firm, concentrated, spicy red intended to age with plenty of dark fruit and damp earth aromas. It's broad and eveloping, slightly warm, with some leather notes, but refined and lingering.
