Rioja Oriental (formerly Rioja Baja) can be delicious when it sticks to its true strengths. Leave Tempranillo aside, let Graciano and Garnacha take the leading role and the result can be as delicious and easy on the wallet as this wine is. Fresh, spicy, herbal and violet aromas on a medium-bodied wine that feels almost light but is aromatic, delicious and meant to be thoroughly enjoyed.
