Freixenet Casa Sala Gran Reserva meses Brut Nature 2006 Espumoso

This sparkling wine, on the list to join the Cava de Paraje category, aims to reflect the personality of Alt Penedès’ high altitude vineyards using Parellada, a light, subtle varie-ty which is widely grown in the area. Grapes are sourced from an 85-year-old vineyard and then blended with some Macabeo. After seven years of aging, the wine has developed a complex nose with toasty aromas followed by a broad, almost voluptuous palate with toasty character and a serious, slightly bitter finish.
