Following a swift saigné, the wine was partially fermented in barrels and aged briefly on its lees. With a judicious use of oak, the wine shows the body and the unctuosity you may expect from Ribera del Duero and none of its tannins. It is perfect to pair with many summer dishes when you simply don’t feel like drinking red. On the nose, nothing too showy or artificial: ripe red fruits and aniseed notes on the background.
