En Números Vermells Garnatxa Peluda 2020 Tinto

This wine is a curiosity for a couple of reasons: Garnacha Peluda, a mutation of Garnacha with distinctive downy leaves, is rare in Priorat, and it is produced in tiny quantities. En Números Vermells is worth tasting though, as it combines the area's natural fruit and mineral strength with a seductive elegance that develops gradually in the glass. Regardless of the alcohol, there is lovely balance in this wine.
