Grapes are sourced from traditional vineyards, a mix of owned and purchased plots, with many intermixed grape varieties in Albares, a village in Bierzo Alto on the limit for grape growing. Fermentation with stems and ageing in different vessels seem to enhance the freshness of these mountain vineyards. Striking elegance and finesse at a very affordable price; focused palate with an almost crystalline character. The packaging is also lovely.
