Medium ruby colour. Complex nose with sweet spices (cinnamon) aromas, hazelnut, kirsch. Showing different stages on the palate, all of them marked by finesse and balance. Silky, well-integrated tannins, long finish. Perhaps not as impressive as 2004 and 2005 but this wine is a long-distance runner and it is worth seeing how it develops with time.
