Cal 2017 Blanco

This wine shows how a unique soil can produce a totally different Godello to the standard Bierzo style. The wine comes from a chalky plot (Cal in Spanish means lime) and the character of the soil shows clearly through in the wine. A sharp, zesty, mouthwatering white with amazing tension. Minerality in its most pure form. It might not be a crowd-pleasing Godello but I'm sure that true wine aficionados will love it.
