B Blanco Lexítimo 2019 Blanco

Following its recovery in cooperation with Galicia's Misión Biológica and the Universisty of Santiago de Compostela, the Blanco Lexítimo vines were planted on schist soils in a vineyard overlooking the river Miño in the northern end of Ribeira Sacra. After a set of experimental vinifications, this first release shows the aromatic, grapey, rather exuberant, Muscat-like character of this white variety. There is good acidity too and a dry, serious finish. Very interesting.
