Arrayán Rosado de Garnacha 2021 Rosado

This rosé is made from Garnacha Peluda, one of the lesser known varieties that winemaker Maite Sánchez began to recover in 2015 at Finca La Verdosa. As a red wine it was somewhat bland, but it works really well as a rosé, displaying a refined nose with hints of aniseed, rose petals and red fruit (pomegranate) aromas. It has a juicy, almost citric mid-palate with notes of grapefruit, flowers and red berries. A really elegant, well-balanced and nuanced wine.
