Arizcuren Solomazuelo Ánfora 2021 Tinto

Javier Arizcuren is one of the few producers in Rioja that ages some of his wines in amphorae -his favourite tinajas come from Juan Padilla. Whereas the clay helps or not, this Mazuelo grown in Yerga (Rioja Oriental) expresses itself in a captivating way (blue flowers, blueberries, herbal notes). A red full of character, with a fascinating wild side, a dark, deep, mineral aspect and even a subtle hint of lavender on the finish. A fantastic Mazuelo.
