Alcubilla de Avellaneda 2015 Tinto

An excellent example of why good Riberas flourish with some bottle ageing. This one also shows the character of a very specific area in the village of Alcubilla de Avellaneda (Soria). Grapes were sourced from a 20-year-old vineyard planted at 920m elevation. Really fine, deep nose with fully ripe, yet fresh red berries and orange peel. Elegant, well-defined palate with notable length and perfectly polished tannins. This is pure enjoyment.
