Abadía Retuerta Pago Valdebellón 2012 Tinto

The Valdebellón plot stands on distinctive chalky soils. Purple colour. Very well-defined nose with crunchy red fruit (raspberries, blackcurrant), really fine and expressive. This is an outstanding vintage for Cabernet at Abadía Retuerta which almost performs better than Tempanillo form Negralada. Very juicy with undergrowth notes and high quality tannins. Really representative of the variety and the estate's terroir.
