A experimental variety in the past, Petit Verdot appears now on the label. It adds structure to a Merlot intended to be drunk young. Black and red fruits, with some peppery, floral and herbal notes (bramble) on the background. Gentle, round palate with that extra punch to match many summer dishes. A fresh, easy-to-drink wine that can be chilled.
