1902 Centenary Carignan 2009 Tinto

With only 850 bottles produced, this wine has contributed significantly to draw attention towards Priorat’s old Carignan vines. Saturated purple colour. Powerful nose showing a herbaceous, almost ligneous character together with perfumed aromas and concentrated fruit (plums). Extremely powerful and concentrated on the palate, yet with great acidity and deep, mineral flavours (dry stones, graphite). Great intensity and character. Very high price.
