One of the key figures in the revival of Chilean wine and a highly influential winemaker, “Reta” has played a decisive role in the restoration of old vineyards and the quest for fresher wines that are closely linked to the local landscape.

Antonio Candelas presents a tasting of the new white wines from Jerez, soon to have their own regulations to define and highlight the region's unique grape varieties and terroir. The wines to be tasted are Elisa by González Byass, Mirabrás by Barbadillo, Vara y Pulgar by Compañía de Vinos del Atlántico, Sara Sotomanrique, Tabatiere by Bodegas Serdio, 11° Al Sol by Williams & Humbert and Mariquilla by Santiago Jordi.

Around 40 producers of Garnacha and Albillo Real from the Sierra de Gredos mountains are once again joining forces to take part in the third edition of the festival. Among the producers present are: Alfredo Maestro, Aumesquet Garrido, Bernabeleva, Arrayán, Jiménez Landi, Canopy, Cható Gañán, Daniel Ramos, Las Pedreras, Rico Nuevo, Vino y Se Quedó, Ambiz or Viñadores de Gredos. Visitors will be able to taste barrel samples alongside the winemakers, as well as a selection of Bordeaux châteaux. This second edition will feature 22 Bordeaux châteaux, presenting over 60 wines, including en primeur wines from the 2025 vintage and great vintages already on the market. There will also be two masterclasses dedicated to Bordeaux and its wines.

Alfonso Chacón, Juan Alonso Cuesta and Álvaro García de Oteyza will lead a commemorative tasting featuring 10 wines selected blind by Pedro Ballesteros MW: La Suerte de Arrayán (Albillo Real and Garnacha), Loco de Canopy, Rosé from Cooperativa Condes de Fuensalida, Rosé from Bodegas Alonso Cuesta, El Surco de A Pie de Tierra, Garnacha de Lola (Parajes Cuqueña and Mazalba) from Bodegas Alonso Cuesta, 100 Años Garnacha Centenaria from Condes de Fuensalida, Uvas de la Ira, from Vitícola Mentridana, and La Viña Escondida, from Bodegas Canopy.

Jorge Orte, DipWSET, Certified Rioja Wines Educator, WSET Certified Educator, and owner of the Grape Bebop academy, hosts this session, which will cover topics such as the new classifications and styles of the DOCa Rioja, natural factors, and grape varieties other than Tempranillo. At least 12 wines from the DOCa Rioja will be tasted, sourced from the three sub-regions and representing all authorised grape varieties.
