The Sindicato del Gusto hosts a new edition of this tasting event with the participation of wineries such as Altolandon, Ánima negra, Arizcuren, Arrayán, Berta Valgañón, Binifadet, Más Que Vinos, Verum, Cantariña, Compañía de Vinos del Atlántico, Edetaria, El Escocés Volante, Galia Soriana, L'Enclos de Peralba, Oscar Mestre and Pagos de Villavendimia, among others. There will also be a tasting for the press with dry oxidative wines participating in the Be Ranci exhibition, led by Federico Oldenburg and Marie Louise Banyols.

The annual programme of tastings and activities in Barolo begins with a pairing of wine and cheese by expert Guillermina Sánchez. Six European wines (Cava Blanca Cusiné 2017, Bachelet-Monnot 2022 Burgundy, Nossa Calcário Bical 2020. Bairrada, Cos Pithos 2023. Sicily, Luis XIV Fondillón plus another final wine) will brighten up the evening, accompanying the different cheeses.

Monasteries, convents, and abbeys have historically been linked to wine, not only as producers, but also as guardians of winemaking techniques and centers of consumption. Juancho Asenjo will present this seminar, which will address in depth the historical role of these places in viticulture, wine in monastic life, and their current legacy.

Flamenco singer Gabriel Rocha and guitarist Raúl Ramírez star in this tasting show, in which they will sing and play different styles of flamenco music, each paired with a different type of sherry and a bite to eat. Explanations will be given about the wines and flamenco styles.

Considered among the best red wines in the world, Brunello wines are showing a diversity of styles thanks to the study of soils and exposures, resulting in new nuances of flavour and aroma within the identity of Tuscany. The following wines will be tasted: Casanova di Neri Cerretalto 2019, Il Marroneto 2020, Baricci Montosoli 2020, Salvioni La Cerbaiola 2020, Gianni Brunelli 2020 and Pietroso Riserva 2019.

In Caíño, they tend to shy away from the classic and the familiar, but in this case, there must be something special. And they promise that there will be wines far beyond Nebbiolo.
