Composer and musician Manuel Alejandro, who was born in Jerez, will deliver the conference Canto al Jerez en Vendimia (Song to Sherry in Harvest), where he will talk about his particular vision of the wines of his native city.

Aranda de Duero Harvest Festival

The Aranda de Duero harvest festival celebrates its 8th edition with activities such as wine tastings of Ribera del Duero wines (a solidarity tasting and a premium tasting), tastings at the stands of 13 wineries as well as local gastronomy. There will also be free concerts with artists such as Santiago Auserón, Cepeda, Amparanoia, Flying Cactus and DJ Sessions. There will also be comedy and circus-theatre shows.

A walk through Chablis

Located in the north of Burgundy, Chablis is known for the expression of the Chardonnay grape variety, which produces very aromatic and mineral dry wines, marked by the chalky character of the soil. Blind tasting competition of Sherry Wines

The sixth team blind tasting challenge, organised by the Sociedad Jerezana del Vino, will take place on 4 and 5 September. The finalist teams will compete for victory on the morning of the 6th. Each team will taste seven wines produced in the province of Cádiz and the prizes will be: First place: €400 in a choice of wines. Second place: 200€ in wines of your choice. Third place: €50 in wines of your choice.

Master Tastings at the Alcázar

As part of the Jerez grape harvest festival, this annual event is organised around Sherry Wines and their pairings with local cuisine, led by winemakers from local wineries and accompanied by live flamenco guitar. Harvest Festival in Montilla-Moriles

The century-old Bodegas Pérez Barquero and the Plaza de la Merced will be the venues for the most traditional events of the 70th edition of this festival, such as the treading of the grapes and the offering to the Virgen de las Viñas. In addition, more than 20 Montilla wines will be presented in the Wine Tunnel. Ábalos Harvest Festival

The wineries Real Divisa, Solana de Ramírez, Ruiz del Portal, Fernández Eguíluz, Solabal, Abeica, Puelles and Eduardo Garrido present the 28th Ábalos Open Day. The Cava Harvest

Montijazz Harvest Festival

Jazz and wine tourism unite with performances in landmark venues in Montilla such as Bodegas Alvear and Cooperativa de La Unión. Cuban pianist Pepe Rivero heads the bill, along with artists such as Daniel García, Quiet Colors, Menil Swing and Carmen Lancho. In addition to the music, there will be guided tours and tastings.

In addition to an exhibition of paintings by artists from Jerez and Haro, the Wine and Brandy Route of the Marco de Jerez presents several tastings for this edition of Jerez' grape harvest festival where visitors will be able to taste wines from Jerez and Rioja. Today there are two tastings: Bodegas Lustau + Bodegas Martínez Lacuesta at 12:00 and Bodegas Cayetano del Pino + Ramón Bilbao at 19:00.

Villacreces Sunset

Finca Villacreces in Ribera del Duero celebrates the arrival of the grape harvest with Villacreces Sunset, an evening to watch the preparation of the grape harvest, enjoy three glasses of wine (Flor de Vetus, Pruno and Finca Villacreces), listen to live music with Wine Notes and watch an aerial show with acrobats from the Arsalabrasa Company.

Crssed tastings Jerez-Haro

In addition to an exhibition of paintings by artists from Jerez and Haro, the Wine and Brandy Route of the Marco de Jerez presents several tastings for the harvest festival in Jerez where visitors will be able to taste wines from Jerez and Rioja. Today it is the turn of Bodega Viña Santa Petronila and the guest, Bodegas Muga. The tasting will be led by Agustín Benjumeda, owner of Santa Petronila. All proceeds will go to the Flora Project of Fundación Entreculturas, which promotes a training centre for renewable energies in the Brazilian Amazon.

Rioja Alavesa Grape Harvest Festival

The Rioja Alavesa Grape Harvest Festival celebrates its 30th edition in 2025. It will be held in the village of Leza, with wine tastings of wine from the subzone, music, aizkolari tournament, games for children, local products and a communal meal. There will be a bus service from Bilbao, San Sebastian and Vitoria.

Culinary gathering with José Peñín

José Peñín presents his book Mis memorias del vino (My Memories of Wine), an autobiographical account that combines his personal experiences with the evolution of wine culture in Spain. To accompany the event, the Maestral kitchen team has designed a tasting menu inspired by the protagonist's career.

Champagne Marguet Grand Crus

The Association of Friends of Vine and Wine presents this tasting from a winery with a long family tradition that has around 10 hectares, most of them in the grand cru of Ambonnay, which works using biodynamic practices and with minimal intervention in the cellar. The following wines will be tasted: Shaman 2021, Oger 2019, Chouilly 2019, Avize 2019, Bouzy 2020, Verzenay 2020 and Ambonnay 2020.
