International Show of Singular and Village Wines

The Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands, along with other international regions such as Sardinia and New Zealand, will be the highlights of this new edition of the festival, which will also feature local food and live music. A total of 24 producers will be present, many of them local, including Les Freses de Jesús Pobre (Alicante), SK Viticultores (Alicante), Finca La Hoya (Murcia), Cooperativa de Viver (Castellón), Entrelindes (Villarrobledo), Celler del Roure (Valencia), MG Viticultors de Xaló (Alicante), Celler la Botera (Terra Alta), Bermejo (Lanzarote), 4 kilos (Mallorca), Borja Pérez (Tenerife) and Ibizkus (Ibiza).

Klandestina wine fair

Klandestina, the wine and natural products shop in San Sebastian, hosts its first producers' fair, featuring 25 small wineries making natural or low-intervention wines. Among others, Azpillaga Urarte, Aristu, Clandestina, Dumenge, Augalevada, Ismael Gozalo, Jorge Olivera, Makatzak, Manin y sus muchachos, Mas Palou, Oscar Mestre and Panduro will be present.

Copa Perez

This year, the international gastronomic event celebrating Sherry wines presents a programme of talks with titles such as Archaeogastronomy: Sherry in the time of Columella, Organic below 15º, Steak Tartar & Sherry Wines, Juli Soler, El Bulli and the Marco de Jerez, and Sherry and the Mystery of Palo Cortado 10 years on. The day after the lectures, there will be a wine fair and presentations of the pairings created by the eight restaurant teams before the jury.

The winery from southern Zamora will be at La Mercería today explaining its soils, climate and old vines with a tasting of the following wines: Field Blend Tradición, Cenit Godello, Cenit Doña Blanca, Cenit and Cenit La Sabina.

Arrels del Vi

The Arrels del Vi fair celebrates its 17th edition with the opportunity to taste wines from 28 wineries in the area, such as Vinyes d'Olivardots, Mas Oller, Hugas de Batlle, Terra Remota and the Espolla cooperative, among others, as well as a guest from Côte du Roussillon (Clos Cerianne). The price includes a Riedel glass, a guided tour of the archaeology museum, a children's workshop and a tapa of anchovies from L'Escala, as well as exhibitors with local products. There are also four tastings of Garnatxa wines from the Empordà, a vertical tasting of Celler Vinyes dels Aspres and another of Martí Fabra.

Laguardia in Wine

Second edition of Laguardia en Vino, featuring wines from 24 wineries in this walled village in Rioja Alavesa, showcasing wines exclusively sourced from local vineyards. The ticket includes a glass, four pintxos prepared by Cristian Solana (chef at El Puntido restaurant) and a tasting of local cheeses. The band Denote will play live music.

Charity Wine Fair

The Fira del Vi Solidari (Charity Wine Fair) was created by a group of wineries in the Masroig area to help fund medical research into childhood cancer through the Obra Social de Sant Joan de Deu charity. At the fair, visitors can taste wines from the participating wineries (Orto Vins, Coca i Fitó, Dit Celler, La Trullola, Cellers Can Blau and Celler El Masroig) and buy a charity wine. There will also be children's activities, tastings, a raffle and music.

Navarra rosés

The Association of Sommeliers of Navarra has invited winemaker Gonzalo Celayeta to present a tasting of rosé wines that are part of the official selection of DO Navarra wines, chosen by the Regulatory Board itself. The following day, the tasting will feature white and red wines. After the tasting, if you wish, you can stay for dinner, which will be paid for on site at a cost of £30.

After recovering old Garnacha vines in Cebreros, Beatriz Herranz returned to La Seca and Verdejo with a plot of land inherited from her grandfather in the Cantarranas area. This is how Barco del Corneta, her personal winery, was born, later joined by Félix Crespo (formerly of Belondrade & Lurton). Together they produce artisanal Verdejos, fermented with native yeasts, which capture the purity of the variety, the soil and the climate. Today you can taste their range of wines.

5th Symposium on Regenerative Viticulture

Under the title “Living vineyards: regenerative strategies for the wine-growing ecosystem”, this symposium will analyse the impact of carbon sequestration in the soil, carbon credit regulations and compensation systems. It will also address how to measure soil health and how to improve the fertility and resilience of vineyards. Finally, the results of two research projects studying the impact of regenerative viticulture in which Familia Torres is participating will be presented.

The town council and wineries of Gratallops host a new edition of Tastets de Gratallops, a wine tasting event in this DOQ Priorat village, accompanied by live music, a photo booth and prize draws. Rubvinos 2025

Rubielos de Mora in Teruel hosts the fourth edition of Rubvinos, a show organised by the winemaker Juanvi Alcañiz (Rubus) where guests will have a chance to taste his wines together with 15 other producers such as Baigorri, Granbazán, Gratias, La Calandria, La Vía Líquida, Curii, Ukan, Barbacan or La Soufrandiere, among others, who will bring more than 80 labels. On the 21st the wine show will be open for the trade.

En primeur show and tasting of Oremus

An opportunity to taste wines from the 2024 vintage as well as other finished wines from the following estates: Dominio de Pingus, Sierra Cantabria, Dominio de Es, Contacto, Alvaro Palacios, Descendientes de J. Palacios, Cuentaviñas, Uvas Felices, Niepoort, Tardieu-Laurent, Château Rocheyron and more than 30 wines from Bordeaux. Antonio Candelas presents a tasting with examples of maritime wines such as Itsasmendi Eklipse, Adina by Gerardo Méndez and Vallehondo from Huelva, along with other ‘mountain’ wines such as 992 Finca Rio Negro, Supersónico by Bodegas Frontonio, Las Luces de Las Moradas de San Martín and wines from Bodegas Clunia in Burgos.

The wines of Zuccardi

Zuccardi is a family winery founded in 1963 in Mendoza (Argentina) and run by José Alberto, from the second generation, and his son Sebastián, who heads the viticulture and winemaking team. Since its inception, it has stood out for its innovative and visionary capacity and is a benchmark beyond Argentina. Bodegas Barbadillo presents Ignota, a tour of three century-old cellars in Sanlúcar's Barrio Alto: the Casa de la Cilla, where the oldest wines are aged, the founding cellar of El Toro and the unique spaces of the Angioletti bodega, such as the Atamán space. Throughout the tour, visitors will be able to taste old wines, manzanillas and vermouth.

Wine Battle in Haro

Haro will once again celebrate its traditional Wine Battle, an event where thousands of people head up to the fields of San Felices, on the outskirts of the town in La Rioja, to throw huge quantities of wine at each other. New this year, there will be buses taking people to the fields of the Cofradía de San Felices.
