Socratic tasting with Boris Olivas and Mª Angeles Quesada

Is the human being sustainable by nature? This is the starting point of this “Socratic tasting,” an experience of reflection and enjoyment aimed at every curious soul. A collaborative space that merges the thought-provoking power of Socratic maieutics with the grounding sensibility of a wine tasting —connecting body and mind. The session is led by María Ángeles Quesada (philosopher and author) and Boris Olivas (wine critic and educator).

A journey through a selection of wines and excerpts from the Diccionari literari del Priorat, read by four authors: Raquel Ricart, Anna Ballbona, Sebastià Perelló, and Maria Callís. These writers participated in the Priorat En Persona gatherings, sharing time and stories with locals, and later wrote texts inspired by this shared experience. Tasting of Adega Entrecantos wines

Roberto Rodríguez grew up in Torbeo, a small mountain village in Ribeira Sacra, surrounded by vineyards. After years running a gourmet shop in Ourense, in 2017 he decided to return to his roots, reclaiming his uncles' vineyard and creating Adega Entrecantos. He works only with his own grapes and minimal intervention.

Most 2025 Wine and film festival

Most 2025, the film and wine festival, celebrates its 14th edition in two locations. The first part will take place in the Auditorium of the new Vinseum in Vilafranca del Penedès and the second in Priorat. The Future of Wine

Why Not, a charity that aims to improve the quality of life of people with mental health issues, is organising a charity event with talks by Dani Lasa Sancho Rodríguez (Drinks of the future for a changing world), Roc Gramona (Generational survival), Ricardo and Álvaro Palacios (Classifying vineyards to enhance wine), Raúl Pérez (Castro Ventosa. The Journey Begins), Yolanda Ortiz de Arri (10,000 Years of Wine in a Fleeting Journey) and Alex Hernández and Lourdes Rekondo (Rekondo: More than 60 Years). The event will conclude with the presentation of an award to Txomin Rekondo for his career achievements and a snack paired with the wines of the speakers.

Jeni Wilson DipWSET, director of the Vintage Class education centre, holds her Winetime tasting in English - but with translation into Spanish if necessary. The tasting covers the world's wine varieties and wine regions, all accompanied by a few nibbles.

The present and future of viticulture with Sergi del Amo

Mas Roger is a historic farmhouse located in Cabacés, in the Montsant region, which has been transformed into a space for applied research in viticulture and oenology since 2023 thanks to VITEC. The project focuses on native grape varieties and agroecological farming techniques adapted to preserving the landscape and addressing climate change. Sergi de Lamo, oenologist and researcher with over 20 years of experience, directed VITEC from 2008 to 2025, leading innovation and knowledge transfer projects with wineries across the country. Attendants will share a selection of Priorat wines and other unique wines (blind) to spark a conversation about the present and future of viticulture.
