Bodegas Lecea in San Asensio holds its own grape harvest with a traditional grape treading in the stone lagar of its facilities in the village's winery district, followed on Sunday by the pressing of the grapes. The Union of Vinos de Pago Certificados presents a show with the 14 wineries that are part of this group, which will also feature a tasting guided by Pedro Ballesteros MW and Juan Manuel Bellver, journalist and wine consultant, who will present a wine from each winery in the Union, followed by a cocktail reception. Few wineries in Spain are capable of combining classicism and avant-garde as hallmarks of their identity as Martinez Lacuesta does.
