Finca Dofí 2012 Tinto

Álvaro Palacios, Priorat

Bright cherry. Lovely ripe red and black plums, with a clear earthy and mineral edge. A much lighter version compared to previous vintages, which included international grapes. Times are changing in Priorat and this Dofi is a perfect example of the new trend towards rounder, subtler and more aromatic reds. Still young but seems to have great potential. 95 points
